Flint River Mountain Bike Association (FRMBA) is the local chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) and its regional partner, the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA). FRMBA supports SORBA’s mission to promote land access, trail preservation, and new trail development in Dougherty County and surrounding areas. Our members have a great time working together, advocating together, educating together, and most importantly – RIDING together. For more information about joining please contact us.
The chapter Flint River Mountain Bike Association was the hard work of several people to bring mountain bikers together under IMBA / SORBA. We need you to renew your membership or join asap to keep the chapter alive. We cover a 12 county area and we are at risk of losing the chapter forever. If this happens there can never be another chapter formed here. The area will be absorbed by the other boundary chapters. We have two mountain bike trails here in Albany. Many mountain bikers. So why have you not joined? It's the cost of a few craft beers and a good steak for a years membership. Don't be a poser, be a true mountain biker supporting local trails and trails all over this country. Join the Flint River Chapter of IMBA today.
If you enjoy riding, hiking or running The Flint River Trails, please join our local IMBA/SORBA chapter. We need you to continue the growth needed to fund and maintain the trails.
